Libya Stories is an advocacy platform that amplifies the voices of ordinary people in Libya. We believe every person has a story worth telling, and every story has the power to create understanding and change. Through storytelling, we bridge the gap between Libya and the world.

Each story here is told in the words of the person who lived it. We meet them where they are, listen, and publish what they choose to share: rights, work, displacement, illness, art, war and everything in between. Nothing is written on their behalf.

Behind every story is a team of storytellers, translators, editors and photographers, credited at the end of each piece.
